So I'm getting married next month and I thought "What would be something unique that I'd never seen at a wedding?" Why a Pinbox 3000 for guests to play with, why not?!
I used the theme of a wedding adventure to create a play field that was based on our wedding venue, which is a book barn/vineyard in NSW, Australia. The play field is meant to represent the wedding ceremony by the lake and the reception book barn! The aim is to knock off the ball bearings held via magnets that are blocking the ramp shots. After that, you hit the marbles up the horse-shoe ramp, ring the hanging wedding bell and get your marble into the R.S.V.P. cup to attend the wedding! Get all three marbles in there and you are a pinball wizard! You can get the ball bearings in there too but its really hard due to their weight. Occasionally the ball will run the length of the horse-shoe ramp from one end to the other so it adds a bit of randomness to the gameplay. There is also a u-shaped rail underneath the ramp to keep things speedy an a star-spinner to lock balls on! I used a lot of the classic-playfield shapes to create space and flow. Overall I'm very happy with the design! What you do all think?
