This is a weekend costume I made for the North East Kingdom Music Festival (NEKMF). Myself and a group of 3 friends made them out of recycled cardboard packing materials and bike tire tube to sew the plates together.
Here's me in my CardBORG costume from another year at NEKMF.
A bunch of us in Cardboard Tek Came together to construct Bessie, the AT-AT Walker during the 3 days of NEKMF one year. HERE'S THE VIDEO!
I saved soda-pop tops for a while and then linked them all together into a full (head, shirt and pants) suit of chain mail armor. It was cold, and pinchy.
One of the most fun uses of cardboard, is to create marble runs! This is me working on one for a residency at the Doty Memorial Elementary School in Worcester Vermont.
